1. Our Commitment to Privacy

At TollgateX, we are building infrastructure for the agentic web. Our core philosophy is "Privacy by Default." Unlike traditional web monetization layers, we do not track individual human users. Our system is designed to identify and challenge AI agents, not people.

2. Data Collection (AI Agents Only)

We collect data specifically related to automated requests to provide our services:

• Agent Fingerprints: Non-personally identifiable metadata used to distinguish between different AI models and bot types.
• Transaction Metadata: Details of the x402 payment challenge, including amount, currency, and settlement status on the Base network.
• IP Addresses: Used solely for edge-node routing and DDoS prevention at the Cloudflare layer.

3. Human Visitors

Human visitors are completely transparent to TollgateX. We do not place cookies on human-driven browsers for tracking purposes, nor do we build profiles of individual human browsing habits. If you are a human, TollgateX is invisible to you.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell data. We share transaction logs with the relevant Publisher only to provide them with revenue transparency and agent analytics. On-chain settlement data is public by design on the Base blockchain but contains no personal information.

5. Security

All handshakes and payment verifications occur in TEE-secured (Trusted Execution Environment) workers at the edge to ensure maximum integrity and privacy.
