Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing TollgateX services or deploying our monetization layer, you agree to these Terms. If you are an AI company, these terms define the conditions under which you may access partner content through the x402 settlement layer.

2. Services Provided

TollgateX acts as a settlement layer between AI agents and publishers. We provide edge-native bot detection, payment challenges (HTTP 402), and automated micro-payment verification.

3. Fees & Settlement

• Platform Fee: TollgateX retains a 5% transaction fee on all micro-payments processed through our system.
• Payouts: Publisher revenue is settled according to the terms of our Merchant of Record service, typically on a monthly basis.
• Blockchain: All transactions are verified and settled on the Base network (Layer 2). Users are responsible for maintaining their own TXP-compatible wallet for automated payments.

4. Prohibited Use

Circumventing the TollgateX monetization layer via scraping workarounds with the intent to avoid payment is prohibited and may results in a permanent block across our entire partner network.

5. Termination

Publishers may remove the TollgateX guardrail at any time. We reserve the right to suspend any agent from our network if they are found to be abusing the system or failing to settle valid invoices.
